Start with traffic, not appearance. A tile that will carry trolleys, sand and constant footfall — a shopping centre concourse, an airport pier, a hospital corridor — should be full body porcelain, because there is no decorative layer that can wear through. Below that intensity, double charged tiles give most of the durability at a lower price per square metre.
If the floor is domestic or lightly commercial and the look matters more than abrasion, GVT and PGVT are the right answer. Digital printing reproduces marble veining, timber grain and weathered concrete far more convincingly than a pigmented body can, and at 600x1200 mm or larger there are few enough grout lines that the pattern reads as continuous.
Outdoor work has its own rules. The tile needs low water absorption so trapped moisture cannot freeze and split it, and a surface texture rated for wet slip resistance. Do not specify a polished tile for an external step or a poolside, however good it looks in the showroom.
Staircases are the one place where the format, not just the body, is specified: a tread and riser that arrive as a matched pair, already the right depth, save a great deal of site cutting and give a consistent nosing line down the whole flight.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between ceramic, porcelain and vitrified tiles?
Ceramic is the broad family. Porcelain is ceramic fired hotter from a denser clay body, giving water absorption below 0.5 per cent. Vitrified is the term used across India and much of Africa for that same dense, glass-like body — so in practice a vitrified tile is a porcelain tile. Full body, double charged, GVT and PGVT are all vitrified types, separated by how the surface is decorated.
What is the minimum order quantity?
We supply by the container. A 20-foot container holds roughly 1,100 to 1,400 square metres depending on tile thickness and size, and a 40-foot container roughly double that. Mixed containers combining several ranges, and tiles with sanitary ware, are standard for our export customers.
Can you produce a size or finish that is not listed?
Yes. We manufacture to OEM specification, including custom sizes, bespoke colours, private-label cartons and shade matching against a sample you send us. Tooling lead time depends on the format; contact us with the specification and we will quote both the price and the schedule.
Which port do you ship from, and what are your terms?
Most consignments leave through Mundra or Kandla in Gujarat, both within road distance of the factory in Morbi. We quote FOB, CIF and CFR, and prepare the full export document set — invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading — in-house.
