• Faceted / diamond — Angled planes that catch light differently on each face. The strongest shadow effect and the most popular for reception walls.
• Wave — Soft continuous curves flowing across the joint between tiles.
• Fluted / ribbed — Vertical ribs that make a wall read as taller. Works particularly well full height.
• Stacked stone — Irregular layered relief imitating dry-stone cladding.
• Geometric relief — Repeating raised patterns that build into a larger design across several tiles.
• Carved — Fine incised detail, more decorative than sculptural.

Using 3D tiles well

Light them from the side. A 3D tile lit flat from the front loses almost all of its effect, because the shadows that create the depth disappear. A wall washer mounted close to the surface, above or below, is what makes the relief read — and it is why so many 3D feature walls look disappointing in practice.

Use them on one wall, not four. The effect is strong and it is meant to be a focal point. A room with sculpted relief on every surface stops reading as texture and starts reading as noise.

Keep them off floors and out of wet zones. These are wall tiles: the relief traps water and dirt, and a faceted surface underfoot is neither comfortable nor safe. Behind a basin is fine; inside a shower enclosure is asking for limescale in every hollow.

Check the coverage before ordering. Deep relief means the tile face is larger than its footprint, and setters often need more adhesive than a flat tile of the same size — worth flagging on a specification.
